Looking for a last-minute Christmas gift, but have no idea what to get? Bring back family game night! We wanted to help cut down on your shopping time, while also helping you create memories with your family. These new games are fun for both young and old, so the parents will enjoy game night just as much as the kids! They've all been released in the last year or two, so you’re less likely to be getting a last-minute gift that they already have.
Welcome to our blog!
Having spent the last 30 years as road warriors in the ministry, working with a variety of ages and denominations across the country and around the world, we've gained a unique perspective on marriage, family, church, & ministry. We'll share some of those here, and we'll also use this space to update you on the latest news about our ministry and family. If you're here to look for posts on specific subjects, just click on one of the categories or tags listed. We'd love for you to follow our posts through our RSS feed and, if you would be so kind, please share anything you think is worthy!
Add your perspective!
We realize we're not the only people with something to say. We'll also use this area to post articles written by others that we think are important to share. If you have something you've written, or an article or post you've seen that you think would add to the conversation, please email it to us and we'll have our team consider posting here as well! Help us make this a great place for people to come for encouragement and insight!
By now, most of you have heard about #GivingTuesday. It began several years ago as a way to get people to focus on not just getting on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but also to take a moment to give back on the following Tuesday. Non-profits around the world quickly jumped on the bandwagon, filling everyone’s inbox and social media feeds with requests for donations. As we prayed and considered what we would do this #GivingTuesday, we just didn’t have a sense of peace about being another in a long line of good organizations asking for your money. The fact is, many of you have been incredibly faithful for many years to invest in our work of “tearing down walls and building up families.” To ask you for more money just didn’t feel right. So instead, we decided to flip the script this year and make #GivingTuesday about giving back to our donors!
